This skill is acquired by constant practice through the projects I've done in the past 3 years. In recent months, I've been learning Scrum Development and starting to implement it in my projects.
I'm always excited when I magically create something just by typing some words on my computer. Nowadays, I focus on web development and have familiar with HTML, PHP, CSS, JS as well as frameworks such as Bootstrap, AngularJS, and Laravel.
Good-looking is a must in my everyday life especially when it comes to technology. I'm not a photoshop Guru but at least I can convert a boring mess of words into a readable and exciting magazine. Recently, I explore things about User Experience (UX) and start to conduct my own UX analysis for some particular websites.
I started as a layout designer in Majalah Fitrah, a teen magazine based in Bandung. I was responsible to not only design the layout, but also choose the appropriate font and color for some particular articles. This was the first time I worked alongside with my study in ITB.
My friends and I got an assignment that required us to analyze the problem of an SME and try to solve it. We went to a tutoring company and tried to solve their scheduling and finance management problems. The owner convinced by our prototype and decided to implement it. We started our own IT consulting named Armme and involved in a lot of IT projects since then.
I got an opportunity to be an intern in Chevron, one of the biggest oil and gas company in the world. I learned how IT can impact and should be managed in a large company during the internship period. I finished the program by making a SOA design for the company.
I decided to build a startup in my last year in the institute. It's called Boca, an apps that enables futsal player to book a futsal court through their smartphones. I finally graduated on August 2015, and keep on building my startup. I boostrap my funding through various IT projects.
The Boca journey didn't work. Particularly because I enjoyed developing the app more than selling it. With that realisation, I decided to join Amartha, a fintech startup whose mission is to improve the life of people in rural areas. I served different roles in Amartha, started as fullstack engineer, mobile engineer, and in my final year as lead engineer. I helped Amartha build end-to-end software solution for the field operation which enabled Amartha to serve more than 200.000 borrowers.
In July 2019, I got an opportunity to join Gojek, an Indonesia decacorn which processes more than 3 millions orders everyday. I joined gojek as a GoPay product engineer, responsible for maintaining its international system which operates across Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
